Dr. Richard L. Austin
Dr. Richard L. Austin has been in practice since 1984. He comes from a long family line of chiropractors: Great Grandfather, Great Grandmother, Father, and Brother. Los Angeles College of Chiropractic is where Dr. Austin obtained his doctorate.
This diverse office incorporates proven techniques handed down through generations, in addition to newer proven advanced methods including: cold laser, decompression table, massage therapy, rehabilitation exercise, etc.
After many years of research and personal application, Dr. Austin additionally specializes in nutritional counseling. Clearly viewing the benefits of dietary changes on blood sugar, lowering of cholesterol, muscular skeletal pain, GI distress, Asthma, fibromyalgia, etc. Food sensitivities play a large role in Dr. Austin's nutritional counseling.
Emily Struthers, LMT
Emily has been practicing bodywork and massage therapy for over 17 years in Idaho and since 2015 here in Bend. She graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and an emphasis in addictions counseling. Emily studied Asian bodywork and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Wellspring School for Healing arts and western massage therapy at Three Oaks Academy and Integrative Health Center both in Boise Idaho. Emily Is nationally certified with the NCCAOM as a Diplomate in Asian Bodywork therapy; she also Nationally Board Certified through the NCBTMB as a Licensed Massage therapist (Oregon 22103).
Emily is passionate about bodywork and her client’s wellbeing. She loves helping people to feel better and regain mobility, reduce pain, relax and find their smile.
In her spare time you can find Emily enjoying the outdoors; skiing and snowboarding in the winter and camping and hiking in the summer. Emily enjoys playing a round of disc golf or a leisurely day at one of the many surrounding lakes.
Brandi Jacobson is a passionate, highly driven, and knowledgable licensed massage therapist that is a 2nd generation Bend local. She was a competitive gymnast for 9 years making it to level 10, she retired from the sport in 2013 and began coaching in 2014. As an athlete and coach specializing in gymnastics she understands the importance of discipline and taking care of the body and mind. She graduated from the COCC Massage therapy program in 2014 and has been licensed since February 2015.
Her goal is to help you get back to doing what you love, whether that be allowing your body and energy to keep up with your kids, participating in competition, or being able to hike to the top of every mountain in the Cascades! She is devoted to her client's health and well-being and is committed to providing excellent service that is geared to help you achieve your goals.
She is trained in Swedish, Therapeutic, and Sports massage.
